Timothy Gray teaches American literature at College of Staten Island, City University of New York. He is the author of Gary Snyder and the Pacific Rim: Creating Countercultural Community (Iowa, 2006) and Urban Pastoral: Natural Currents in the New York School (Iowa, 2010). He Lives in Plainfield, New Jersey.
